KINDRED SPIRIT

David Crane and Mike Hall both grew up and live in Erwin NC. They have been inseparable for 50 years and their friendship has never wavered and is stronger today than ever!  Neither would have ever dreamed that they would be singing together 50 years after their friendship began! From their early years in school they have each had a strong love for music and that continues today! Gospel music is their favorite genre as they continue to pursue a desire to spread the gospel of Jesus!

In the late 90’s and early 2000 David was a member of New Life Gospel Band where he developed many musical talents that included song writing, keyboards and guitar. In 2005 he joined Won4Christ where he sang tenor and continued his love of gospel music. In 2007, at the suggestion of David, Mike joined Won4Christ singing Baritone. Over the next few years each one continued to grow in their abilities. Their ability to sing multiple parts and harmonies is something they are extremely thankful for!

With a desire to carry their journey to the next level, much prayer and spiritual advice from close friends and family, Kindred Spirit was born in July of 2016 and in November of 2017 Chris Johnson joined as our Sound technician and January of 2019 Walt Aiken joined bringing his distinct bass voice to the group. David, Mike, Walt and Chris continue to record music, performance tracks and parts that they use when singing.  They are excited to see what God has in store for them as they step out in faith! “We took the first step, and now God will carry us in the direction he wants us to travel”
