"The greatest LOVE"

One of the most profound attributes of being a parent is believing in our children. Encouragement is vital as a child grows to not only their stability in their relationships with others but also to their lifelong views of what exemplifies a parent that cares and is supportive. There is a word that will cover a multitude of shortfalls in everything.......LOVE..... Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not envious, or boastful, or arrogant, or rude. It does not insist on its own way. It is not irritable or

"Where does your joy come from?"

When I was young my mom brought joy from above for my brother and me. It was as if she grabbed hold of a balloon that had temporarily lost its way in the sky, bringing delight and celebration back to us.

My mom brought me joy in the hardest moments. When kids whispered around me but didn’t talk to me, I felt left out, but Mom consoled me and showed me that my heart was worth much more. Mom helped me to see what I could be thankful for as she spoke to me. I needed to possess joy and not allow others to

Stop Worrying about the past!

What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Whether it’s getting those new shoes you’ve been wanting or trying the food at a new restaurant, there’s just something exciting about things that are new. Have you ever thought about the fact that when you become a Christian, you’ve become new? Your hair doesn’t change color, and you don’t

Nothing can Compare

We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.........2 Cor 10:12

Who are we living for?

He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. – 2 Cor 5:15

One really important question to ask yourself is “who am I living for?” Where do you spend the majority of your time? Is it checking out the latest pictures posted on Instagram? Reading your favorite book? How you spend your time shows you a lot about who you’re living for.

In today’s Bible verse, it talks about no longer…

Gods perspective

So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! – 2 Corinthians 5:16

Once we accept Jesus as our savior, everything changes! We are made new in Christ Jesus and our whole outlook on life is different. We don’t only see things from a human point of view. Also, we don’t view other people based on their social status, family, or what they do for a living. The death and ascension of Jesus broke
